- 500 grams pressed cottage cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 100 grams all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- Pinch of salt
- 8 teaspoons Greek yogurt
- Fresh blueberries or blackberries about 24–32 berries total
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine pressed cottage cheese, eggs, maple syrup, and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Gradually add flour and mix until a soft dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
Roll each portion into a ball. Flatten slightly to form a thick cookie shape. Using your fingers, gently press the center of each bun to create a small indentation.
Place about 1 teaspoon of Greek yogurt in the center of each bun. Add 3–4 blueberries or blackberries on top of the yogurt.
Place buns on the prepared baking tray. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until set and lightly golden.
For extra golden color, I usually broil for 1–2 minutes while watching carefully to prevent burning.
Allow buns to cool slightly before serving.
